Edie serves various roles, from office cat to office mascot. At fourteen years old, she is retired from most activities besides eating gourmet meals and sleeping on her heating pad for twenty two hours a day. 

Edie came to the office after her previous owner died. Somehow, she went to a shelter where, due to her age, she wound up in the care of a local agency. 

Immediately upon seeing Edie, Jake adopted her. She became and remains a central part of the office.
